The DNT ThermNight 4K LRF is a multispectral Scope giving you:
– 4K Day Vision
– 4K Night Vision
– Thermal 256 x 192px
– Laser Range Finder with built in Infrared Lamp
– Ballistic Calculator engine
…all in one compact unit!
If you are new to digital scopes and night vision, here it is in layman’s terms:
In the world of scopes, there are basically three options. Daytime optical scopes for shooting in daylight. Night vision scopes for seeing in total darkness using infrared light and Thermal Scopes which allow you to see at night using heat signatures e.g. The warmth of an animal appears as a bright object whereas a cold tree is hardly visible.
The advantage of a Night vision scope is it usually has a better picture than a Thermal scope so is better for positive identification. A Thermal scope image is more pixelated (less detailed) and therefore better for locating but not as good at positive identification especially at distance.
The ThermNight 4K gives you all three options. Day vision and night vision in ultra clear 4K for positive identification and a 256x192px Thermal Sensor for easy location. It is called a Multispectral Scope.
But there is more. Judging distances at night can be a challenge especially if you don’t know the ground well. ThermNight 4K has a built in Laser Range Finder giving you a precise distance to target AND a built-in ballistic calculator that automatically adjusts your reticle for different ranges, so you don’t need to adjust your turrets or use holdover as you do with an optical scope. You simply push a button and it’s done.
For example, if your rifle is zeroed at 40m but the bunny runs out to 70m, you press a button and the scope presents you with a new, adjusted reticle allowing for the extra drop of your bullet.
It also has all the other gadgets you would expect from a state-of-the-art optic such as 1-shot zeroing and auto-capture hi-res photos and videos. Many people think they won’t use the built-in camera and video recorder, but you should. It isn’t about bragging rights to show your mates. It allows you to review your shots, especially your misses to help you to improve.
The DNT ThermNight 4K LRF is an all-in-one package at a very agreeable price. ?With Day, Night and Thermal as standard, it gives you everything you need. With the laser range finder, ballistic engine, up to 24x zoom and all the other options, it also gives you everything you want. Why would you buy anything else?
